Corinne Zachary

Corinne Zachary is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the ENL Building Leader at Amityville Public Schools since September 2020. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing the ELL identification process, coordinating assessments, developing budget proposals, analyzing ELL data, and providing mentoring to new ENL teachers. Corinne has previously held positions as an ENL Teacher and Administrative Intern within the same district, where responsibilities ranged from conducting assessments to implementing curricular models and ensuring compliance in ELL services. A background in fitness as a Group Fitness Instructor and Fitness Coordinator at Crunch Fitness complements Corinne's educational expertise, which includes a Master's degree in English and an Advanced Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Currently pursuing a degree in Educational Leadership at Stony Brook University, Corinne has also contributed to curriculum development and professional development initiatives focused on culturally responsive teaching strategies.
