Greg Smith

Greg Smith has a wide range of work experience in the technology industry. Greg started their career as an Assistant MIS Manager at Old Line Plastics in 1991, where they worked until 1996. Greg then served as the Chief Technology Officer at Aero-Vision Technologies from 1997 to 2003. Greg worked as a Systems Administrator at The Rockefeller University from 2003 to 2004. Greg then joined Truviso as a Software Engineer from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, Greg had multiple roles, including being an Author at Packt Publishing, where they wrote a book on PostgreSQL, and a Principal Consultant at 2ndQuadrant, where they designed and implemented PostgreSQL installations. Since 2013, Greg has been working at Crunchy Data Solutions, Inc. as the Chief PostgreSQL Evangelist, where they advise customers on various aspects of deploying PostgreSQL and coordinates customer-facing tests. Overall, Greg has a rich background in PostgreSQL and has experience in various roles within the technology industry.
