John K. Harvey

John K. Harvey has over 20 years of experience in software configuration management. From 2001 to 2010, they worked at Motorola as a Senior Software Configuration Manager, where they worked on the Razr, Rokr, Motorola Krave, and the original Droid. In 2010, they moved to Comcast as a Build/Integration Engineer and created, designed, and implemented a reproducible software release process for the back-end metadata team. In 2013, they joined SPARC, LLC as a Senior Configuration Manager and managed a small software configuration management team. In 2014, they moved to Strategic Operational Solutions as a Senior Integration and Deployment Engineer, where they converted the build system from ant to maven and migrated the development team to use maven-based tomcat deployments. Since 2015, they have been the Director of Software Operations at Crunchy Data Solutions, Inc., where they designed and built a process that generates most of the software deliverables for Crunchy Data and maintains over 2,000 build scripts and processes.

John K. Harvey received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1997 and 2000. John K. also obtained a CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA in June of 2015.
