Utku Azman

Utku Azman is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Director for the Postgres and Citus Engine at Microsoft, where responsibilities also include founding the Turkey Engineering Center and directing the Citus Database for the EMEA region. Azman co-founded and invested in Tarentum AI and previously held various roles at Citus Data, contributing significantly to its mission of building a leading database before its acquisition by Microsoft. Additional experience includes strategic relations at Intel Corporation, director-level roles at Oracle focused on industry insight and strategy, and consultancy at McKinsey & Company. Azman's early career included a product management internship at Google and a systems engineer position at Alcatel-Lucent. Academic credentials include an MBA from London Business School and a degree from Cornell University.
