Grigore Pisarenco

QE Enablement Manager at Crunchyroll

Grigore Pisarenco has a strong background in software automation testing and QA. Grigore started their career at YOPESO in 2016, where they served as a Software Automation Tester. In this role, they led automation tasks for various mobile and web projects and was responsible for setting up Jenkins jobs for regular smokes and sanities. Grigore also implemented Selenium Grid Server for parallel execution.

In 2017, Grigore joined Ellation as a Lead QA Automation Engineer. In this position, they worked in a scrum/agile environment, creating automated testing solutions for web and mobile applications. Grigore used various technologies such as Java, Appium, Serenity BDD, Selenium, PHP, and Codeception. Their responsibilities included coordinating the QA automation team, improving automation frameworks, writing automated tests, performing code reviews, and maintaining Jenkins jobs. Grigore also conducted trainings for the QA automation team and stayed informed about new automation technologies. Grigore held this role until the end of 2018.

Most recently, Grigore joined Crunchyroll in 2019 as the QE Automation Manager. In this position, they coordinate automation activities within the Software Engineering department and with test partners. Grigore oversees the planning of automation activities and is responsible for hiring new SDETs, QE Security engineers, and API testers.

Grigore Pisarenco attended The College of Informatics from Chisinau from 2008 to 2012, where they pursued the Speciality of Computer Science. From 2011 to 2016, they attended The State University of Moldova, majoring in The Faculty of Law. Additionally, they also studied at The State University of Moldova from 2012 to 2015, where they pursued both The Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics and The Faculty of Fine Arts.
