Hisato Usui

Hisato Usui has extensive experience in the entertainment industry, particularly in anime production and direction. Currently serving as an Anime Production Senior Producer at Crunchyroll since August 2019, Hisato previously held the position of Anime Director at NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan from April 2015 to August 2019. Hisato’s career began in 1980 with Onkyo Corporation in a sales role, and has included significant leadership positions such as GM at Toshiba Entertainment and Toshiba Digital Frontier, and GM at Showgate and Hakuhodo MaP. Hisato's expertise encompasses both managerial and production aspects within diverse entertainment sectors over a span of several decades.
