Rumi Lutsch began their education history in 2008 when they attended Kanagawa Prefectural College of Foreign Studies, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in English Language and Literature/Letters. They then went on to attend Meiji University from 2010 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History. During their time at Meiji University, Rumi also had the opportunity to study abroad at East China Normal University from 2011 to 2012 as an exchange student, focusing on Chinese Language and Literature.

In terms of additional certifications, Rumi obtained the ITIL foundation certification from EXIN in June 2013. They also obtained the CCNET certification from Cisco in May 2013.
