Edwin Okeson has been a dedicated family physician at Crusader Community Health since August 1987, serving in various capacities including family practice physician and chief medical officer until January 2015. Following retirement in 2023, Edwin Okeson continued to work part-time as a clinician until October 2023. Previous roles include chief medical officer at Programa de Salud Maya Peten from July 1995 to June 1997, employed physician at Stanardsville Family Practice, and family medicine resident at the Rockford Medical Education Foundation. Edwin Okeson's educational background includes a Master of Public Health in International Health and Maternal and Child Health from Johns Hopkins University, a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Biology and Chemistry from Rockford University.
