Matthew Lorber has worked in various roles in the past few years. In 2019, they became the Co-Founder of Cruuz, where they have managed operations ranging from sales, marketing, management, strategic planning, customer support, and more. In 2020, they joined TikTok as a Social Media Influencer, with over 900 thousand followers, and worked closely with various brands to promote products and services. In 2021, they became the Co-Founder of Moves, working on growth and marketing as well as operations, and Co-Founder of Plots, where they developed and implemented go to market strategies. Matthew also became a Social Media Marketing Consultant for Lorber Consulting, a Marketing Associate for Haas Business School Association (HBSA), a Speaker and member for Entrepreneurs@Berkeley, a member of Undergraduate Real Estate Club - Berkeley, a Social media influencer for Wish, and a Founder for Berkeley SkyDeck.

Matthew Lorber began their education at Calabasas High School from 2016 to 2020. Following this, they attended Moorpark College Business Administration from 2018 to 2019, where they studied Business Administration and Management, General. Matthew then attended University of California, Los Angeles in 2019, studying Physics. In 2020, they began attending University of California, Berkeley, where they are currently studying Economics. In 2021, they attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they completed the MIT Mentor Venture Program and Sandbox Startup Program. Additionally, they participated in the Skydeck Accelerator Program at University of California, Berkeley in 2021.
