Tom Peijs is an accomplished mechanical engineer with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles, currently serving as Team Lead Mechanical Engineering at Crux Agribotics since June 2023. Previously, Tom held multiple positions at Weir Minerals from June 2016 to May 2023, including Team Lead Comminution and Mechanical Engineer, where responsibilities involved complex design work and modeling for high-pressure grinding rolls. Earlier roles included mechanical engineering and CAD design at companies such as TCPM and Ravestein BV, as well as an internship focused on optimizing a hexapod simulator at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. Tom began the academic journey at Eindhoven University of Technology, earning a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field, complemented by experience in various technical and administrative positions throughout the career.
