Scott Collins

Scott Collins has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Scott currently serves as the Head of Security and Compliance at Crux since January 2023. Previously, they held the role of President & Principal Consultant at SRC Consulting Group LLC from September 2015 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Information Security GRC at Root Inc. from December 2021 to November 2022. Scott also served as a Senior Manager at Oportun, overseeing Technology & Security GRC Programs from April 2019 to December 2021. Before that, they held the position of Director of Cyber Programs at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from April 2013 to September 2015. Scott also has experience as the VP of Cybersecurity and Information Warfare at D & S Consultants Incorporated from May 2005 to April 2013. Scott has also worked in various managerial and technical roles at Maden Technologies, Oculus Technologies, Raytheon, and Pier Trucking Corporation.

Scott Collins has a diverse education history. Scott completed their MBA in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their ME in Computer Engineering from the same institute between 1997 and 2000. Scott began their educational journey by earning a BA in History from Tulane University from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Scott has achieved certifications such as the ISC2 Governance Risk & Compliance in September 2023 and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in April 2004.
