John Selberg

John Selberg has a diverse work experience background. John currently holds the position of R&D Director at Cruz Foam since June 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded OrganOmics in 2021 and remained in that role until January 2022. John's educational background includes a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Cruz, completed between March 2016 and September 2021. During their undergraduate years at UC Santa Cruz, they worked as a Research Assistant studying transcription elongation factors Spt4/Spt5 in S. Cerevisiae from March 2013 to February 2016.

John Selberg has a diverse education history. John completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and also earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2015. Following this, they pursued higher studies and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution. Currently, John is in the process of completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering, which is expected to be completed by 2021.
