Cristina Ávila

Cristina Ávila has extensive experience in human resources and talent management. Cristina'smost recent position was as the VP, Global Human Capital at CRYOPDP since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of HR Portugal at Vifor Pharma from August 2021 to August 2022. Cristina also served as the International Human Resources Manager at Tecnimede Group in 2021.

Earlier in their career, Cristina held various HR roles, including People & Culture Manager at IKEA from 2019 to 2020, EDS EMEA Talent Manager at Aptiv from 2018 to 2019, HR Associate Director, HR Manager, and HR Business Partner at Hovione from 2015 to 2018. Cristina was the Head of HR at Grupo Rodoviário - Concessões Baixo Alentejo e Algarve Litoral from 2009 to 2015 and a HR Business Partner at Brisa from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, they served as the Recruitment & Selection Service Manager at Brisa from 2002 to 2003 and as a Human Resources Specialist at Auto estradas do Atlântico from 1999 to 2002.

Cristina Ávila completed an Advanced Program in Management for Executives at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in 2007-2008. Cristina also studied Social and Organizational Psychology at Ispa - Instituto Universitário from 1994-1999. In 2011-2012, they pursued an Advanced Program in Corporate Sustainability at INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education. Lastly, they completed a Post-graduation in Labor Law at Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa in 2001-2002.
