Shahram Mossayebi, Ph.D.

Shahram Mossayebi, Ph.D. has had a diverse range of work experiences in the technology and cybersecurity fields. Shahram is the Founder & CEO of Crypto Quantique, a quantum driven cybersecurity company focused on addressing IoT security challenges. At Crypto Quantique, they utilize advanced techniques in cryptography and quantum physics to deliver unforgeable identity key derivation technology. Additionally, they are an Entrepreneur in Residence at Entrepreneur First, where they have been involved in fostering entrepreneurial talent. Before that, they worked as a Security Solutions Architect at CyNation, where they focused on designing and implementing security solutions. Prior to this, Shahram worked as a freelance Cybersecurity Consultant, helping organizations protect themselves from sophisticated attacks through the design, engineering, and implementation of information security programs. Shahram has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mathematics, Royal Holloway University of London, and as an IT Manager at NGO Training Centre. Early in their career, Shahram served as a Research Associate at Khaje Nasir Toosi (K. N. Toosi) University of Technology.

Shahram Mossayebi, Ph.D. pursued their education at Royal Holloway, University of London. From 2008 to 2010, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Security. Following this, they continued their academic journey and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Post-Quantum Cryptography from 2011 to 2015, also at Royal Holloway, University of London.
