Perry Fardella

Perry Fardella has been working in the software engineering and tax consulting industries since 2013. In 2013, they began their career as a Tax Accountant at Parker Crofts & Co. where they were responsible for IT and converted the firm's hardcopy SMSF auditing process into a digital and paperless process. In 2019, they moved to PwC Australia as a Tax Consultant, where they were the software 'champion' of PwC's Engagement Centre CRM software and was responsible for assisting with onboarding of staff and clients and resolving issues as they arose. In 2020, they worked as a Software Engineer Vacationer at Fortescue Metals Group, where they built a mining data cataloging web application to assist mining assets to extract ore more efficiently. In 2021, they joined Hatchd as a Software Engineer, where they built modern front-end web applications using React / Next. js / Typescript and built APIs using node. Currently, they are a Full Stack Software Engineer at CryptoTaxCalculator.

Perry Fardella has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Murdoch University, obtained between 2019 and 2021. Perry also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Curtin University, with a double major in Accounting and Taxation, obtained between 2013 and 2015. Perry has also completed the CPA Australia Program in 2019. Additionally, they hold a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) certification from CPA Australia, obtained in July 2019, a Certificate III in Hospitality from Hospitality Group Training WA, obtained in January 2012, and an Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in March 2021.
