Devendra Joshi

Devendra Joshi has over 18 years of work experience in the legal field. Devendra started their career as an Associate Lawyer at the New Delhi Bar Association in 1998 and worked there until 2008. During this time, they handled various legal responsibilities such as providing legal advice, drafting contracts, conducting legal research, and representing clients in negotiations, alternative dispute resolution, and litigation.

In 2008, Devendra joined Welcure drugs as a Law Officer, where they worked until 2009. Devendra then joined AKUMS DRUGS & PHARMACEUTICALS LTD in 2010 as a Legal Manager and subsequently held positions as Sr Manager Legal, ÀGM Legal, and Head - Legal. In these roles, they handled drafting and vetting of legal agreements, contract negotiation, contract management, and litigation matters. Devendra was responsible for various types of agreements, including Contract Manufacturing Agreement, Principle to Principle Agreement, Loan-License Agreement, and Confidentiality Agreement.

In 2019, Devendra joined ZTE Telecom India Pvt Ltd as the Head Legal, where they worked until 2020. Their responsibilities included legal counsel and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Currently, Devendra is the General Counsel (Vice-President) at Crystal Crop Protection Limited, a role they have held since April 2022. Devendra is also serving as the Head Of Legal in the same company since February 2020.

Devendra Joshi completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Zoology and Botany from Government PG College Gopeshwar, from 1992 to 1995. Subsequently, they pursued their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from the same institution, from 1995 to 1998. In addition to their formal education, Devendra Joshi obtained a certification in the "Online Proficiency Self Assessment Test for Independent Director's Databank" from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs in May 2021.
