Wesley Verboom

Wesley Verboom is an experienced educator currently serving as a History Teacher at Lodewijk College and as a History & Social Science Teacher, along with the role of Head of the Social Science Department at Christelijke Scholengemeenschap Walcheren, both since August 2023. Additionally, Wesley has been a Dutch Teacher with the Chinese Student Association at Erasmus University Rotterdam since April 2019. Previous roles include a teacher at Alfrink College, a Dutch Teacher at AIHR, and a History Teacher at Wolfert Lyceum, where bilingual instruction was implemented. Wesley gained experience in historical research as an intern with Gemeente Utrecht, contributing to a publication on slavery and colonialism. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in History of Politics and Society from Utrecht University, a Master's degree in Leraar Voorbereidend Hoger Onderwijs from Leiden University, and a dual Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and History from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
