Cyriel van Rossum

Cyriel van Rossum is an experienced educator specializing in Dutch language instruction and linguistics, currently serving as a Dutch language teacher at Taalschool Roffa and as a Docent Nederlands at De Schrijfschool. Since 2011, Cyriel has been teaching Dutch to young German expats at Goethe-Institut e.V., reaching the C2 proficiency level, while also mentoring future teachers in linguistics and didactics at Hogeschool Rotterdam and other institutions. As a freelance journalist since 2011, Cyriel contributes to various publications with a focus on human interest, environmental issues, and administrative matters. Cyriel's academic background includes a Doctorate in Dutch Linguistics from Radboud University, obtained from 1981 to 1987.
