Omri Tayyara

Omri Tayyara, PhD, is a Technical Specialist in Energy Storage and Energy & Power at CSA Group, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Omri served as Director of Mechanical Engineering and Senior Thermal Engineer at Jule from October 2022 to September 2023. Omri has an extensive academic background, having been a Doctoral Candidate, Graduate Research Assistant, and Social Media Manager at the University of Toronto from September 2017 to October 2022. Earlier experiences include an Engineering Co-op at Moen Incorporated, serving as President of the Cleveland State Ohio Epsilon Chapter of The Tau Beta Pi Association, and an Engineering Co-op at The Alloy Engineering Company. Omri holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, along with a Master's of Applied Science in the same field and a Bachelor's of Applied Science from Cleveland State University.
