Philip Martins, EIT, currently serves as a Research Assistant for CSA Group, where responsibilities include the creation of a product survey and analysis tool and the application of advanced Microsoft Excel techniques to identify opportunities for growth. Previously, as a Junior Project Manager, Philip contributed to projects involving accessible transit and food waste reduction while expanding membership in the ISO Canadian Mirror Committee on Food Loss and Waste. Philip's earlier experience includes leadership roles in Ryerson BAJA Racing, where notable accomplishments included improving team performance and growing membership, as well as serving in various positions within the Ryerson Engineering Student Society focusing on equity and community inclusion. Philip has also engaged in research roles at Ryerson University, contributing to academic advancements in mechanical engineering. Educationally, Philip holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in Biology from Ryerson University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at York University.
