Carlos Pons Carrasco

Carlos Pons Carrasco is an R&D Telecommunications Engineer at the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) since January 2024, focusing on the design and testing of high-frequency components for satellite communications, including the development of an X-band SDR-based transceiver for mini-satellite platforms aimed at Edge AI applications. Prior to this role, Carlos worked as a Software Engineer at Omda from February 2022 to January 2024, where contributions included the development of an integrated platform for emergency response and a web-based solution for real-time emergency management. Carlos also gained experience as a Software Development Intern at Omda in 2021, working on an Android application for managing Mass Casualty Incidents. Academically, Carlos is pursuing a Master's Degree in Telecommunication Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de València, following a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunication Technologies and Services Engineering from the same institution.
