Urpo Kaila is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in IT and security management. Since May 2012, Urpo has served as a Security Officer for the EUDAT Project, part of the European Data Infrastructure. Concurrently, Urpo has held multiple leadership roles at CSC, the Finnish IT Center for Science, since March 2003, including Head of Security and IT Security Manager, responsible for strategic security and reporting directly to the CEO. Additional roles include being a board member of the Finnish Information Security Association from 2005 to December 2011, a visiting lecturer at Teleware Oy from 2005 to 2007, and various pre-sales and training positions at F-Secure Corporation from 1998 to 2004. Urpo's educational background includes a CISSP certification in Information Security Management and a Master's degree in Economics from the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration.
