Korkut Mert

Korkut Mert is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in commercial management within the construction and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Commercial Director at CSCEC Middle East since February 2019, Korkut previously held the same title at Drake & Scull International PJSC from February 2015 to February 2019, overseeing commercial and contractual policies for substantial MEP and construction projects across the GCC, Northern Africa, and India. Prior roles include Regional Commercial Manager at Anel Group and Commercial Manager at Laing O'Rourke, where leadership of commercial, procurement, and estimation teams was paramount. Korkut began the career as an MEP Manager at Alarko and as a Quantity Surveyor at Demta Mechanical Construction and Trading. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree and Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC & Process) from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi.
