Guilherme Peretti-Pezzi

Guilherme Peretti-Pezzi is an experienced professional in the field of computational science and software engineering, currently serving as the Group Lead of Compute and Data Services Support at CSCS since January 2015. Previous roles at CSCS included leading scientific computing support and working as a computational scientist, focusing on user support, continuous integration services, scientific software benchmarking, and GPU code development. Guilherme's academic background includes a PhD in Computer Science from Université Côte d'Azur, a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Additional experience includes postdoctoral research in High-Energy Physics at Universita' degli Studi di Torino, software engineering for medical reimbursements at Caisses Sociales de Monaco, and foundational research roles in simulation and software development at INRIA and the Société du canal de Provence.
