Josh Szmergalski

Josh Szmergalski, P.E. is a highly experienced structural engineer and educator with a robust career spanning from 2010 to the present. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at CSD Structural Engineers since January 2015, Josh has also held the roles of Associate, Senior Engineer, and Project Engineer within the company. Additionally, Josh has been a Lecturer at Milwaukee School of Engineering since September 2018, teaching Principles of Structural Engineering and Strengths of Materials. As the Chair of the Young Professional Council for the Architectural Engineering Institute from October 2018 to May 2024, Josh has demonstrated leadership within the professional community. Josh's earlier experience includes positions as a Structural Engineering Intern and several roles at Milwaukee School of Engineering and the MSOE Kern Center, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Structural and Architectural Engineering from Milwaukee School of Engineering, earned in 2015.
