Robert Cook

SVP, Market Development at Canadian Securities Exchange

Robert Cook has over 30 years of experience in the Canadian financial industry. Robert began their career as a financial analyst at Derry Michener Booth in 1980 and spent two years in that role before joining the Toronto Stock Exchange in January 1982. Robert spent 20 years at the Toronto Stock Exchange, including 10 years as Director of Market Surveillance. In December 2002, they left the Toronto Stock Exchange to join the Canadian Securities Exchange as SVP of Market Development, a position they still hold today.

Robert Cook has an MBA from The University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University - Glendon College.

Robert Cook reports to Richard Carleton, CEO. They work with Pina De Santis - VP, Corporate Development, Mary Anne Palangio - CFO, and David Timpany - VP, Technology & Operations.
