Alex George, MPA, serves as a Legislative Representative for CSEA Local 1000 since February 2023, bringing prior experience as a Budget Fellow for the New York State Division of the Budget and a Researcher for the New York State Assembly. Extensive legislative experience includes positions as a Researcher/Field Operative for the Democratic Assembly Campaign Committee, Legislative Analyst and Fellow in the Office of Senator David Carlucci, and various roles within the Student Assembly of the State University of New York, culminating as Chief of Staff. Alex George's academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from Rockefeller College at the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the State University of New York at Oswego.
