Deborah Mueller (Lauria) has a rich background in labor relations, with experience in various roles at different organizations such as CSEA Local 1000, New York State Nurses Association, SEIU Local 200United, and WNY Area Labor Federation. Deborah has also worked with AFSCME and American Federation of Teachers in roles related to organizing and political activism. Deborah has received their education from State University of New York at Fredonia and State University of New York Empire State College.

The Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA) is one of the largest and most influential unions in New York and the United States. CSEA has about 300,000 members and represents state, county, municipal, school district, child care, and private sector employees.
