Gabriel Christmann is a Principal Engineer at CSEM with extensive experience in the field of Biophotonics. Prior to their current role, Gabriel has held various positions such as Research Scientist at Base4 Innovation and Research Associate at the University of Cambridge. With a PhD in Photonics from EPFL and a Master's Degree in Solid state physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, Gabriel has a strong educational background in physical engineering. Gabriel's career also includes roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Crete and a PhD student at EPFL.

Together with these institutions, CSEM created HTA (Heterogeneous Technology Alliance), to prepare for the next generation of technology.Their research strategy is based on extensive market research, and helps us to develop technologies today which will be needed in the future.While research activities remain one of the cornerstones of CSEM, they never lose sight of the overriding importance of their customers - it is they who provide us with invaluable insights into global markets.
