Jennifer Shin Cfre

Jennifer Shin, CFRE, has a diverse background in the nonprofit sector, with experience in various roles and organizations. Jennifer most recently served as the Director of Project Management at the CSG Justice Center, where they provided internal capacity building strategies and change management guidance. Prior to that, Jennifer worked as the Principal of JS Collective, supporting nonprofits and emerging leaders in the philanthropic landscape through executive counsel and strategic planning. Jennifer also served as the Vice President of Philanthropy at Forterra, focusing on advanced fundraising strategies for conservation, community development, and climate innovation. Jennifer has extensive experience in consulting, having worked as a Consultant at The Alford Group, where they provided resource development strategies and comprehensive assessments to nonprofits in various sectors. Additionally, they held the role of Director of Development at the Seattle Public Library Foundation, overseeing a comprehensive fundraising program and community engagement efforts. Earlier in their career, Jennifer worked at Catholic Community Services, where they served as the Associate Director of Development and Operations and Database Manager, centralizing fundraising operations and growing the annual giving program. Jennifer Shin, CFRE, obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Seattle University in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Washington in 2005. Jennifer also holds a certification as a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) from CFRE International.
