Michelle Rodriguez

Michelle Rodriguez is an experienced policy analyst and social worker with a strong background in social services and advocacy for youth. Currently employed at The Council of State Governments Justice Center since June 2015, Michelle has held the titles of Policy Analyst and Program Associate. Previous roles include Social Worker at Casey Family Programs, where responsibilities included evaluating the needs of crossover youth and developing resources for foster youth seeking higher education. As a Mitigation Specialist for King County, Michelle authored comprehensive reports for court proceedings and facilitated clients' navigation of social services. Michelle's early career included internships focused on assisting Spanish-speaking families and addressing public health issues related to HIV/AIDS. Education includes a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Seattle University.
