Jesse Dean (He/Him)

Director, Strategic Communication at CSH, the Source for Housing Solutions

Jesse Dean's work experience begins in 2008 with an internship at the World Council of Churches. Jesse assisted with event planning and report writing for key events related to human rights and global conflicts. In 2009, Jesse joined ReServe Inc. as a Development and Marketing Associate, where they managed social media accounts, wrote grant proposals, and secured new funding. Jesse then took on the role of Marketing & Communications Manager, leading a website redesign project and increasing website traffic. In 2010, Jesse served as a Board of Director and Treasurer for Global Youth Connect. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Fedcap as a Manager of Digital Communications, focusing on event-driven fundraising strategies. Jesse joined the Coro New York Leadership Center in 2013 as a Communications Director before transitioning to a role as a Digital Marketing Manager at GreenMarket.com. In 2014, they became the Director of Digital Communications & Marketing at the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group, where they implemented strategic communications plans and oversaw content development for social media and websites. From 2017 to 2020, Jesse operated their own digital marketing consulting business. In 2018, they joined the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation as the Director of Marketing & Communications. Currently, Jesse is the Director of Strategic Communications at CSH, the Source for Housing Solutions, leading marketing and branding efforts to support the organization's strategic plan.

Jesse Dean (He/Him) holds a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude degree in Sociology, Writing and Literature from Columbia University. Jesse also possess an Associate in Arts degree in Writing and Literature from Borough of Manhattan Community College. In addition, Jesse earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Columbia University between 2005 and 2008. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in COVID-19 Contact Tracing from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in June 2020.
