Sara Clement Biggs

Sara Clement Biggs is an experienced higher education professional currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Communication in the Office of the Provost at American University since August 2018. Previously, Sara held the position of Senior Director of College & University Relations at The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars from February 2005 to November 2017. In addition, Sara worked as a Graduate Intern in Programs and Research at the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges in 2012, contributing to a grant from the Teagle Foundation, and served as a Research Associate at the Council on Hemispheric Affairs in 2003. Sara holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration with a focus on Finance and Policy from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, International Studies, and Latin American Studies from Wake Forest University.
