Katrina Van Valkenburgh has a range of work experience in various organizations and positions. Katrina started their career at Mystic Valley Mental Health Center as a Program Supervisor from December 1981 to October 1986. Katrina then worked at Women's Lunch Place as an Acting Director and Resource Coordinator from January 1988 to January 1990. Following that, they joined Housing Opportunities for Women as a Program Manager from January 1990 to July 1991. In the same organization, they became a Program Manager from 1990 to 1991. Katrina then worked at Supportive Housing Providers Association as a Director from 1995 to 1999. From 1991 to 2000, they worked at Deborah's Place in various roles including Program Administrator, Project Planner, Associate Director of Development, and Director of Project Development. Currently, they are the Managing Director of the Central Region at CSH, where they have been since August 2010. Katrina is responsible for overseeing administrative functions and projects within the Central region, managing staff, coordinating projects with national units, and providing input on potential partnerships.
Katrina Van Valkenburgh attended Kalamazoo College from 1977 to 1981. Katrina pursued their undergraduate studies in Sociology and Public Policy, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree.
