Andres de Fuentes

Andres de Fuentes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering within the water and sewage infrastructure sector. Currently serving as Project Director at CSI, Andres manages detailed engineering projects and oversees the upgrade of high-voltage transformers and lines. Previously, as Head of Industry & Construction Business Unit, impressive leadership was demonstrated by managing over 90 engineers, architects, and designers on more than 40 projects across the Americas. Additional roles include Construction Site Manager for a greenfield malt processing plant and Project Engineer for industrial projects in Uruguay. Earlier career experiences include positions as Sales Engineer at Xylem Inc. and Frost Protection Co., where significant contributions were made in sales and project engineering. Andres holds an MBA from IEEM and a degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de la República, along with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
