Ahmed Shehata

Ahmed Shehata is a seasoned Project Director with extensive experience in the engineering and construction industry. Currently serving as a Project Director at Lamprell since October 2025, Ahmed previously held the same title at Saipem from June 2021 to September 2025. Prior roles include Project Manager at Bonatti S.p.A. and various project management positions at Saipem, where responsibilities included overseeing the Zohr and Egina projects and working as a Cost Estimation Engineer. Ahmed began the professional career as a Material Control Engineer at Technip and has a solid foundation in project engineering and material control, having worked at Saipem and Express Industrial in early roles. Ahmed holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Fluid Mechanics from Alexandria University.
