Sergeant Steve LaPorta retired from the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, where one of his assignments was to be the Infoshare™ System Administrator. His career spans twenty-five years of law enforcement experience, from crash reconstruction to crime scene investigations and forensics. Serving in the Clayton and the Franklin Township Police Departments, he has experience as a detective, patrol officer, D.A.R.E. instructor, supervisor, and special officer and has been assigned to the New Jersey State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, the US Secret Service Philadelphia Area Electronic Crimes Task Force and the FBI’s Child Exploitation Task Force, just to name a few. He was also the Logistics Coordinator for the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Swat Team.
Steve continues to serve as a volunteer firefighter for the Minotola Fire Department, where he lives. Over the years, Steve has shared his vast experiences with others as a presenter, instructor, and lecturer. He was also a member of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Speaker’s Bureau. Steve holds a BA in Public Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University and Masters in Human Resource Training and Development from Seton Hall. He continues to serve the public safety sector as he calls upon his vast law enforcement experience and InfoShare™ expertise to help his clients use CSI products effectively and increase their efficiency on the job.
