Elisa Varela Cerruti

Project Architect - BIM (usa & Uy) at CSI

Elisa Varela Cerruti has been working in the architecture industry since 2014. Elisa began their career at Brenes Consultants in Mdeo, Uruguay as an Architect's Assistant, where they managed construction permits in accordance with local regulations and data survey, as well as hydraulic calculation, plumbing and firewall construction documents in large scale architectural projects. In 2017, they began working at Arch. Fernández (Mdeo) & Candida Tabet (São Paulo) as an Architect Designer - BIM, where they were responsible for schematic design and design development of residential townhomes and luxury single family houses through BIM technology. Later that same year, they began working at Berthet-Méndez-Taranto Arquitectas (Mdeo, Uruguay) as an Architect, where they were responsible for design development and construction documents for large scale projects (family residences and hotels) carried out in USA and Mexico by the interior design studio PAUL DUESING & PARTNERS (Dallas, USA). In 2019, they began working at Humphreys & Partners Architects as an Architect Designer, where they were responsible for design and innovation. Currently, they are working at CSI Ingenieros as a Project Architect - BIM (USA).

Elisa Varela Cerruti has a varied educational background. Elisa began their studies in 1997, completing their bilingual primary and high school education at Jesús María College in Montevideo in 2006. Elisa then earned a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Juan XXIII I Montevideo in 2007-2008. In 2009-2016, they earned an ARCHITECT degree from the Architecture, Design & Urbanism University in Montevideo, Uruguay. In 2019, they completed a Professional specialization course at Marketing, Architecture & Design from Universidad de la República. Additionally, they completed an Autodesk REVIT - Master in BIM Design from Animation Campus in Montevideo, Uruguay.
