Venkat Ramanan is a Junior Research Fellow at CSIR - Central Leather Research Institute since September 2022, focusing on a project aimed at developing artificial light-driven molecular binding clips to inhibit amyloid cross-β-fibril formation in Alzheimer's disease through the synthesis of photoactive organic macromolecular clips. Prior experience includes a research internship at Veltech Dr.RR Dr.SR University from December 2021 to June 2022, where Venkat contributed to a review article on perovskite-based solar energy, and serving as a Project Associate at the Central Electrochemical Research Institute from August 2021 to December 2021, working on metal-free redox matrix fabrication for paper-printed sensors. Venkat holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from BSA Crescent Institute of Science and Technology (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Guru Nanak College (2015-2018).
