Ashish Kurmi currently serves as a Junior Research Fellow and Project Fellow at IISER Bhopal since July 2023. Prior to this role, Ashish Kurmi completed a dissertation project at the University of Delhi from January to May 2023. Additional experience includes a winter internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, in late 2021, and a summer internship at the Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) in mid-2021, focusing on a project related to the high energy molecule IP7. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biophysics from Delhi University, ongoing studies for a PhD at IISER Bhopal, and a Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science from Dr. Harisingh Gour University. Ashish Kurmi has also completed NPTEL courses in Bioengineering and Cellular Biology at prestigious institutes, enhancing knowledge in the interface of biology and medicine.
