Sean Lawrence

Sean Lawrence is an engineer and researcher currently serving as an Early Research Career Fellow in data-driven energy modelling at CSIRO's Energy Research Unit, where they support Australia's energy transition by optimising energy use in commercial buildings. They co-founded a non-profit dedicated to helping engineers pursue high social impact careers and have experience as a podcast host and sessional teacher. Sean completed their PhD in mechanical and aerospace engineering at Monash University, where they also earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor of Commerce.
