Hugh Grant-Chapman

Fellow, Economics Program And Scholl Chair In International Business

Hugh Grant-Chapman is a graduate intern at the U.S. Department of Commerce, contributing to the International Trade Administration since May 2023, while also serving as a research assistant at the Harvard Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation. Their extensive experience includes roles such as independent contractor and research and communications associate at the Center for Democracy & Technology since April 2020, and a research assistant at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at the Harvard Kennedy School from September 2022 to May 2023. Prior experience includes a research internship at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Fulbright U.S. Student Grantee in Taiwan, and various research and teaching roles at Westmont College. Earlier in their career, Hugh served as a product analyst at BioIQ and as a software developer at Digifit, Inc. Hugh is currently pursuing a Master of Public Policy in International and Global Affairs at Harvard Kennedy School, following a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Government from Westmont College.
