Renaud Salmon is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive experience in various roles within the shipping industry. Currently serving as Chief Officer at The CSL Group Inc. since May 2018, Renaud's previous positions include Chief Mate at Reformar and Occupational Safety, Security and Environment Officer at PONANT. Renaud has a solid background in navigation, safety supervision, and environmental compliance, gained through roles as 3rd Officer and Deck Cadet across multiple companies including Nunavut Eastern Arctic Shipping, Oceanex Inc., and Desgagnés Marine Cargo Inc. Renaud holds a Navigation Diploma from the Quebec Marine Institute and various certifications in marine safety and environmental regulations, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Law from Université de Bordeaux.
