Antonio Chimento

Antonio Chimento, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Clinical Development Operations, overseeing Global Feasibility and Start Up Support at CSL since February 2022. Previously, Antonio held roles at PAREXEL, including Associate Director of Global Feasibility & Start-up Strategy and Clinical Feasibility Leader, where responsibilities encompassed driving feasibility and site identification for various clinical studies. Early career experience includes positions as a Clinical Research Associate at Dimensione Ricerca and involvement in postdoctoral research and early-stage research roles at the University of Verona and the University of California in Berkeley, focusing on developing diagnostic techniques for monitoring forest pathogens. Antonio earned a PhD in Plant Pathology and Biotechnology from Università degli Studi di Palermo, complemented by an Erasmus fellowship at Université de Perpignan.
