Bronwyn Kingwell is an accomplished leader in medical research and health policy with extensive experience in various prestigious institutions. Currently, Bronwyn serves as Executive Director of Research Portfolio Strategy & Management and Global Research Therapeutic Area Lead at CSL since February 2019. At the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, Bronwyn has held multiple leadership roles since 1991, including Head of the Translation Research Domain and Executive Director of Science Policy. As a Professor (Hon) at the University of Melbourne and Monash University, along with a Board Member and Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences, Bronwyn has significantly contributed to the academic and research community. From 2001 until January 2024, Bronwyn held several positions at the National Health and Medical Research Council, including Senior Principal Research Fellow and various committee roles. Bronwyn's educational background includes a PhD in Physiology from the University of Melbourne and designation as a Graduate and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
