David Plant

David Plant is an accomplished regulatory professional with extensive experience in global regulatory strategy and management, particularly in gene therapies and vaccines. Currently serving as Director at CSL since November 2005, David has led the global regulatory R&D efforts and has been instrumental in managing submissions across multiple regulatory agencies including the EMA, FDA, and TGA. With a solid foundation in research as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, David has authored numerous peer-reviewed papers and successfully secured significant funding for original research projects. Educationally, David holds an MBA and advanced degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Physiology from the University of Melbourne.
