Paul Monahan

Paul Monahan is an accomplished Executive Director and Senior Clinical Fellow in Research and Development for Hematology at CSL Behring, a position held since 2022. With a rich history in academia, they served as a Professor with Tenure in Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1990 to 2015. Paul also has experience as a Senior Medical Director at Shire, a Translational Program Leader at Spark Therapeutics, and worked independently as a consultant in gene therapy and clinical translation until 2023. They earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia and an AB in English from Princeton University.
