Scott Thompson

Scott Thompson is a Senior Scientist at CSL, with a career spanning from December 2004 to the present, where leadership includes guiding teams through protein formulation, stability optimization, and advancing therapeutics from pre-clinical to Phase III trials. Previous roles include a secondment as Manager of Formulation Development focusing on effective protein pharmaceuticals and initial evaluations of investigational medicinal products. Thompson also has experience from Eastman Kodak Company as a Research and Development Scientist working on photographic paper, and as a Research Assistant at Defence Science and Technology contributing to corrosion simulations for aluminium alloys. Educational credentials include a PhD in Materials Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Chemistry, both obtained from Monash University.
