Elaine O'Mahoney

Elaine O'Mahoney has extensive experience in communications and human resources, currently serving as the Acting Assistant Director General of Corporate Affairs and Head of Human Resources at the Central Statistics Office Ireland since July 2016. Prior roles include Head of Communications at Tusla and the National Educational Welfare Board, as well as Senior Account Director at Murray Consultants. Elaine has contributed to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe's Steering Committee for Official Statistics Communications and Dissemination from June 2018 to May 2023. Elaine's educational background includes multiple qualifications from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Master of Arts from University College Cork.
