Alessandro Peddis

Alessandro Peddis currently serves as an Informatore Scientifico del Farmaco at CSO Pharmitalia Contract Sales Organization SpA since December 2022. Prior to this role, Alessandro completed a post-graduate internship at the laboratories of Physiology and Biochemistry at Università degli Studi di Cagliari from September to December 2022 and held various internship positions at the same university from January 2020 to December 2022, focusing on proteomic and behavioral analysis using Drosophila Melanogaster as a model, as well as bioinformatics utilizing DNA bar-coding techniques. Earlier experience includes a six-month internship involving gene-reporter assays to assess the immunosuppressive activity of the VP35 protein from the Ebola virus in human cell lines. Alessandro holds a Laurea Magistrale LM-6 in Cellular and Molecular Biology, obtained in July 2022, and a Laurea Triennale L-13 in Biological Sciences, completed in November 2019, both from Università degli Studi di Cagliari.
